RF Safe Launches New User-Friendly Radiation Safety SAR Checker

Consumers can now easily review the Specific Absorption Rate(SAR) level of their wireless device with RF Safe's new SAR checker tool.

According to the FCC, "SAR is a measure of the rate of RF (radiofrequency) energy absorption by the body from the source being measured - in this case, a cell phone. A new report shows that Apple’s iPhones and iPads had the highest electromagnetic radiation specific absorption rate, known as SAR, out of electronic devices sold in South Korea, reports tech website ZDNet.

SAR Angel App will be a name sake app dedicated to John Coates, CEO/Founder’s, daughter Angel Leigh Coates. She was exposed to RF radiation during early fetal development, she passed shortly after birth of a neuro-tube defect.

The user will simply plug in the FCC ID number: enter the first three digits in the Grantee Code, then enter the Product Code which is the rest of the number. The tool will provide on demand access to all SAR Levels at the tips of the wireless user's fingers.
