Multichannel Low-Power Transmitter: R&S®MLx

The R&S^®MLx Multichannel Low-Power Transmitter optimizes DVB-T/DVB-T2 network coverage and integrates up to six transmit channels in one system. A flexible transmitter configuration makes it an ideal transmitter for areas without specific broadcasting infrastructure, or for installation in the smallest of outdoor enclosures. Its 250 mm depth makes it the most compact transmitter on the market today.

This multichannel transmitter transmitter unit can bolster network coverage in rural areas with poor reception such as mountain valleys and islands, as well as for small private networks at trade fairs, shopping centers or universities, and even city centers with many high rise buildings. The compact, 5 HU cabinet combines transmitter, transposer, gap filler and retransmitter functionality in a single unit.

The R&S MLx transmitter supports echo cancellation with levels that are up to 24 dB higher than the input signal, achieving the best performance on the market. With three echo windows and seven echo detection speeds, it provides a diverse range of optimization options to greatly improve digital TV reception.
