L-com Releases Low PIM-Rated Ceiling Mount DAS Antennas

North Andover, MA (PRWEB) - L-com Global Connectivity, a preferred manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that it has launched two low PIM-rated ceiling mount DAS antennas.

L-com‘s HyperLink® brand low PIM-rated ceiling mount antennas are designed specifically for in-building wireless applications such as DAS networks. These antennas provide wideband coverage in a single antenna package. This enables the antenna to support a range of networks including cellular 4G/LTE, Personal Communication Services (PCS), and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n wireless networks.

“Combining multiple capabilities into a single antenna eliminates the need to purchase separate antennas for each band, which simplifies installation and reduces deployment costs,” said Ken Burgner, Product Manager.

The HG72706DPCUPR-NF is a low-PIM 2x2 MIMO ceiling mount DAS antenna that features linear radiators and two separate antenna leads that allow the antenna to receive equal vertical and horizontal signals. This antenna is ideal for use with 1x2 and 2x2 MIMO access points and routers.

The HG75805CUPR-NF is a low-PIM wideband ceiling mount DAS antenna that provides complete Wi-Fi and cellular coverage. This wideband antenna extends its reach to include Wi-Fi coverage from 2400 MHz to 6000 MHz and is compatible with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n networks as well as cellular bands, which adds an additional level of wireless coverage. This antenna can also operate in the 4.9 GHz band that is typically used by public safety services such as police and first responders.

“These antennas are designed to be aesthetically pleasing and to meet the most demanding PIM requirements for LTE/4G bands with a low-PIM rating of <-150 dBc or better. They can be easily mounted through a single hole in a solid or suspended ceiling up to 1” thick,” said Burgner.
