L-com Introduces 180-Degree MIMO Sector Antennas

North Andover, MA (PRWEB) - L-com Global Connectivity, a preferred manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that it has developed two MIMO sector antennas that provide true 180-degree coverage.

L-com’s HG2458-13P-180 is a 180-degree dual-band MIMO sector antenna that combines high-gain and dual-band support for applications in the 2.4 GHz (2400-2500 MHz) and 5 GHz (4900-5850 MHz) frequency bands.

“The HG2458-13P-180 stands out from our competitors’ sector antennas because it is a true 180-degree dual-band sector antenna that features patent pending technology,” said Ken Burgner, Product Manager.

The HG5813DP-180 is a 180-degree dual-polarized MIMO sector antenna. It delivers high-gain with vertical and horizontal polarization for applications in the 4.9 GHz to 5.8 GHz frequency bands.

“The HG5813DP-180 features the same patent pending technology as the HG2458-13P-180. This technology enables it to provide true 180-degree coverage in addition to dual-polarization,” added Burgner.

Both of these antennas feature a dual-feed system via two integral N-Female connectors. The HG2458-13P-180 antennas utilize a separate feed for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bandwidths. The HG5813DP-180 offers separate feeds for horizontal and vertical polarization.

These antennas feature heavy-duty UV-resistant plastic radomes for all-weather operation. Additionally, they are supplied with a stainless steel tilt and swivel mast mount kit, which allows installation with various degrees of up/down tilt for easy alignment.
