Frequency control specialist, Euroquartz has launched a new ultra low g-sensitivity temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) from Greenray Industries Inc. that offers superior phase noise performance. The company also announced that it has been appointed to represent Greenray Industries across Europe.

The new T1241 series TCXO is designed for use in communications, instrumentation and military applications and is available in frequencies from 50 to 100MHz. Acceleration sensitivity is ≤7x10-10/g in the worst axis (SD option) or ≤7x10-11/g (LG option) while typical phase noise ranges from -70dBc/Hz at 10Hz offset to -160dBc/Hz at 100kHz offset. Phase noise floor is -165dBc/Hz.

Housed in a 17.27mm square x 5.08mm surface mount package, the new 1241T series TCXO features 3.3 or 5.0V DC supply voltage at 30mA maximum, an operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C and offers square wave CMOS output into 15pF load with 50% ±10% symmetry. Additional specifications include rise/fall time ≤10ns, ageing of ≤1ppm/year and frequency adjustment of ±5ppm typical.

Commenting on the company’s appointment to represent Greenray Industries across Europe, Andy Treble, Euroquartz sales & marketing director, said: “We are very pleased to be confirmed as Greenray representative in Europe having carried the company’s high quality product range in the UK for many years. Greenray incorporates leading edge design and innovative manufacturing techniques to produce a range of extremely rugged oscillators that are ideal for mobile and airborne applications including the latest smart munitions. Product quality and service excellence is at the core of our business success so we are pleased to have another high quality product line in our portfolio for European customers.”
