Euroquartz Introduces Micro-Miniature Differential LVDS Oscillators With Low Integrated Phase Jitter

EUROQUARTZ

Frequency control specialist, Euroquartz has introduced three new ranges of surface mount micro-miniature differential LVDS oscillators that offer femtosecond integrated phase jitter. Offering high performance at highly competitive prices, the new HDK series oscillators also offer superior phase noise.

HDK3261 series oscillators are housed in 3.2 x 2.5 x 1mm surface mount packages and are available in frequencies from 13.5 to 200MHz with typical phase jitter of 200fs and phase noise of -144dBc/Hz at 100kHz. HDK5361 (5 x 3.2 x 1.2mm) and HDK 5761 (7 x 5 x 1.8mm) oscillators are available from 40 to 200MHz and offer typical phase jitter of 300fs with phase noise of -136dBc/Hz at 10kHz. All three series are available with 2.5 or 3.3V supply voltage offering differential LVDS (low voltage differential signalling) square wave output.

Specifications include current consumption of 30mA typical, 50mA maximum for HDK3261, 16mA typical, 27mA maximum for HDK5361 and 5761, start-up time of 10ms maximum and ageing of ±3ppm per year maximum for all models. Operating temperature ranges from -10 to +70°C (commercial) and -40 to +85°C (industrial) are available across the range.

Supplied on 16mm tape in quantities of 1000 pieces per reel, the new HDK series differential LVDS oscillators are ideal for wide range of applications including flat panel displays for consumer TVs, video streaming systems via external cables (e.g. LDI), high speed serial communications links such as Serial ATA & FireWire, SONET, xDSL, SDH, set-top box and Ethernet cards.
