DataXoom Announces Enterprise BYOD Program For Tablets Using AT&T's 4G LTE Network

Company Provides Cost-Effective, No-Contract Mobile Data Services for Existing Devices

DataXoom Corp. announced recently that it has launched a new enterprise bring-your-own-device (BYOD) program allowing businesses to activate existing mobile data devices, including iPads, with DataXoom’s mobile data services.

DataXoom is a participant in the AT&T* Partner Exchange program and resells AT&T mobile services. DataXoom focuses on providing cellular connectivity for tablets, including iPads, to enterprises. Its customers have access to AT&T’s wireless services and the nation’s most reliable 4G LTE network.**

DataXoom’s enterprise BYOD program for businesses will provide subscriber identity module (SIM) cards to customers, who can immediately begin service by simply inserting the cards into their devices. Activations are supported through flexible data-only plans.

DataXoom provides cost-effective, no-contract mobile data services for mid- to large-sized enterprise customers. Its customers can purchase 2 GB, 5 GB, or 10 GB plans in which data is pooled across an entire account. SIM cards are provided free to qualifying customers.

“We are thrilled to offer this program. Our enterprise customers have many tablets that are not currently active on any cellular network, and they are looking for an enterprise BYOD option like ours that is easy to implement and cost-effective,” said John Tantum, DataXoom’s CEO.

“DataXoom’s enterprise BYOD service is enabled through our participation in the AT&T Partner Exchange program, as our systems can now seamlessly and immediately activate and support iPads, tablets, and other mobile data devices certified on AT&T’s network,” said Chris Hill, DataXoom’s Chief Operating Officer. “Our flexible, no-contract service provides the big benefits of the DataXoom platform – data usage controls and user-level visibility that enterprises require.”

“We’re focused on making it easy for participating solution providers like DataXoom to help their business customers maximize mobile connections wherever they are,” said Chris Bryan, assistant vice president, Product Management, Emerging Business Markets, AT&T Business Solutions.

DataXoom offers businesses several important advantages:

  • DataXoom has no contracts or termination penalties.
  • DataXoom’s proprietary management platform allows a company administrator to manage users through a single web interface across multiple underlying wireless networks. It provides data limits, alerts, and user authentication.
  • If needed, DataXoom can provide affordable new or refurbished devices. DataXoom also offers tablet-and-service bundles, in which the lease cost of the device is packaged with the monthly data service. Other services, such as configuration, warranty, and repair services, can be added. DataXoom’s service is available nationwide.
