Skyworks Expands ISO 9001:2000 Certification
Completes single certification for 12 sites in record time; first company of its size in North America to achieve this distinction
Woburn, MA -- Skyworks Solutions, Inc. today announced that it has received expanded International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 certification, increasing the number of company sites from four to 12. The facilities recognized under the ISO standard include Skyworks' major design, development and manufacturing sites in the United States, Canada, Mexico, France, China and India.
"Providing the same level of excellence, reliability and consistency across all of our processes and product portfolio is a key component of achieving customer satisfaction," said David J. Aldrich, president and CEO of Skyworks. "Our ability to obtain official recognition in meeting the ISO 9001:2000 standard provides independent acknowledgement that our wireless semiconductor solutions are designed to meet customers' stringent requirements and are of the highest quality."
