The Model SW1006 Radiated Susceptibility, Conducted Immunity, and Emissions Test software from AR provides automated immunity and emissions testing and report generation for all types of users from corporate to professional test laboratories. It is designed to run as a stand alone program under Windows and combines Conducted Immunity Test software, Radiated Susceptibility Test software, and pre-compliance Conducted and Radiated Emissions Test Software into one user-friendly package. The software automatically performs both calibration and immunity testing in full compliance with IEC 61000-4-3, 4-6, MIL STD 461/462 RS103, CS114, RTCA/DO160 Section 20 specifications. In addition, the program supplies the user with selectable test parameters and a "thresholding" mode for pre-compliance investigation of equipment susceptibility. Closed loop leveling has also been incorporated making the program suitable for pre-compliance testing and troubleshooting. Pre-compliance emissions testing can be done with the use of a spectrum analyzer and either a pre-amp or LISN.

The program was developed under the National Instruments (NI) LabVIEW environment which makes available a library of over 500 instrument drivers from 45 different vendors. In addition custom drivers are offered and are user-installable. The software is designed for use with the supplied NI PCI-GPIB interface card for instrument communication.

Automatic data acquisition (DAQ) for EUT monitoring and data collection is provided through the supplied NI PCI–6025E DAQ card. This allows the user to collect and automatically record for report generation, 8 digital and 16 analog channels of EUT (or instrument) performance or failure data. An additional 8 digital lines are available for EUT control or reset.

The Model SW1006 software is designed to automatically implement the signal routing capabilities of the Amplifier Research Model SC1000 System Controller forming an AR BrainLink™ System.
