3000 Watt CW 80-1000 MHz Solid-State Amplifier: 3000W1000B
The 3000W1000B self-contained, air-cooled, broadband, solid-state amplifier is ideal for applications where instantaneous bandwidth and high gain are required. When used with an RF sweep generator, this amplifier will nominally provide over 3000 watts of power. The device also utilizes push-pull circuitry in the interest of lowering distortion and improving stability.
The model 3000W1000B amplifier features a Digital Control Panel (DCP) that is capable of providing both local and remote control. Other special features include gain control, internal automatic level control (ALC) with front panel control of the ALC threshold, forward and reflective RF sample ports for precise power measurements, and RF output level protection. Housed in a single equipment rack, the 3000W1000B provides readily available RF power for typical applications such as RF susceptibility testing, antenna and component testing, watt meter calibration, and can be used as a driver for frequency multipliers and higher power amplifiers.
