Xinwei Selects Skyworks' RF Subsystem For Local Mobile Handsets

SCDMA solution brings cost-effective telecommunications service to rural China
Woburn, MA -- Skyworks Solutions, Inc. today announced that Beijing's Xinwei Telecom Technology Company has selected the company's highly integrated RF subsystem for handsets that will support the Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (SCDMA) standard for wireless access service in China. SCDMA is one of the leading technologies in China's campaign to offer universal telecommunications access throughout the country's rural areas.
